Hello, I'm Linda

 

I grew up, along with five siblings, on three continents but have called Australia home for the greater part of my life. My adult years have largely been spent running a home and raising my four children. I loved being a mother and although my children initially attended a conventional school, I eventually chose to homeschool them as a consequence of seeing other families exploring this avenue of learning. I found those years to be challenging but immensely satisfying as I enjoyed the shared journey of discovery and creativity alongside my children. To date, I have thirteen delightful grandchildren, some of whom are now also being homeschooled.

 

Having relished my role as a mother I subsequently went on to hold working roles in various areas of family support in the welfare arena. I found my work as family support coordinator and parent mentor to be the most rewarding of my working life as I like working with people and found that I was naturally supportive and encouraging. I enjoy chatting with parents about parenting matters, to encourage and support them through the issues of raising their children

 

The idea for setting up a small business which supports families came about because I believe that families matter and healthy families are a key to the growth and development of healthy communities. Having homeschooled my own four children, I’ve always felt that there is a common requirement for support specific to homeschooling families. I realised that I'm now at a place in my life where I can provide a multi-layered in-home service, which would be a unique key solution.

It is my delight and privilege to now be able to share in the journey of family life with those I work with.
